Helen is the founding partner of EBS. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has over 16 years of practical experience in international finance and accounting on the Ukrainian market.

Helen started her financial and business career at Coopers and Lybrand where she mastered her understanding of finance and accounting. Looking to expand her experience Helen joined the ‘American Venture Company’ where she not only took on larger and more complex projects but also developed her IT skills particularly in process automation, IT development and financial monitoring.

Of greatest value she now readily admits was the experience gained working for foreign managers particularly in management techniques and team building and it is these skills that she used in the formation of EBS in 1998.

Helen Volska is a recognized expert in all aspects of both Ukrainian and international finance, accounting and IT systematization. She regularly lectures on issues ranging from corporate restructuring and reorganization to corporate strategy and the implementation of SAPR/3, SCALA, Sun Systems and 1C.

Helens personal mission is to influence the underlaying philosophy of Ukrainian management in order to help them unleash the full potential of their companies and to achieve outstanding results.

Nataly Sarguns is an expert in the fields of financial management and fiscal strategy, particularly in their practical application to the implementation and optimization of corporate economic policy.

After being awarded the accreditation of a bachelor's degree in economics, Nataly channeled her energies into gaining experience in the areas of Ukrainian and international accounting, financial management and the operational development of enterprise.

After graduation Nataly Sarguns found immediate employment as the chief accountant in the investment company "Wood and Company" (Kiev). During this period she took the initiative to totally revise, restructure and streamline the company’s managerial accounting strategy. So effective was this process that soon after its inception she was promoted to the position of Deputy Financial Director at the head office in Prague. This post offered the opportunity for her to regularly outshine her previous achievements and vested her with the responsibility of producing continuous financial analysis reports for the multi-national company.

In 2000, Nataly Sarguns became one of the partners in the newly formed investment company Dragon Capital, as well as accepting the position of CFO. Her experience added a steadfast guarantee to the effectively and implementation of the fledgling company’s fiscal management scheme.

In 2004 Nataly Sarguns headed up the team responsible for monitoring the finances of Dragon Capital’s sub-sect companies. Her successes include the supermarket construction company “Nova Linia” – for whom she designed their comprehensive financial and management reporting system. Working at Dragon Capital has proved to be the ideal platform for her rapid career advancement and an environment perfectly suited to the development of her progressive business ethics and interpersonal skills.

In 2007 the desire to assist other companies with development led Nataly Sarguns to EBS, where she became a Senior Partner. The diversity of the project-based work allows Nataly to fully apply her knowledge, skills and abilities, and to demonstrate the intelligence and diligence for which she is renowned.

Olga Kaliuk is a highly experienced manager, strategist and qualified accountant. She has a Master's degree in accounting and audit, as well as an MBA diploma.

Olga began her career as a credit and resource specialist in the banking industry. Seven years of work in this area has enabled her to learn how to co-operate with clients, think globally and to manage financial resources.

Striving for development in other directions Mrs. Kaliuk in 2001 passed to a new sphere – consulting business, where she began her professional career from scratch. It was particularly interesting for her, because she could apply her financial skills and extend the knowledge and understanding of specific sectors of economy, while participating in different projects. This enriched Olga Kaliuk’s experience in such industries, as energy, agrarian business, production of food, retail business, real estate and sphere of services.

One of advantages that consulting has, according to Olga Kaliuk, is variety of projects in which it is possible to apply knowledge and skills from different spheres of business: accounting, management, organizational structure, business-processes and other. Having a large practical and theoretical experience, Olga Kaliuk always starts new projects with ease. Once trainings on strategic development and team building were something new for her, because it was necessary to be not only able to socialize with people but also to analyze their behavior. With time she got interested in company reorganization, optimization of organizational structure, preparation of the management and financial accounting, development of strategy or business plans.

Olena Levshun is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has over 8 years experience in financial, tax and management accounting.

She started her career at EBS as an assistant accountant and over the past 5 years has worked her way up to becoming a Partner and practice leader in accounting outsourcing and financial management.

Olena is a highly respected member of the EBS team particularly by foreign clients as her in-depth knowledge and experience not just of accounting but also of management enables her to provide considerable added value to complex projects, whether it is the preparation the consolidated financial statements according to IFRS standards, or statutory payroll reports or restoration of accounts.

Olena’s natural diligence, accuracy and leadership qualities have significantly improved the quality and efficiency of the accounting outsourcing practice where she introduced quality control and internal auditing systems.

Olena believes that the greatest motivator for her and her team is customer satisfaction and positive feedback.
