Legislative review for June – JulyIn its Letter No.12-113/730-6194 dated June 18, 2007, the National Bank of Ukraine stated that when opening a bank account for a legal entity the rights of first signature belongs to the head of the legal entity (chairman, director etc) and also to other authorized individuals, amongst those could be the chief accountant.
The State Statistics Committee of Ukraine by its order No. 164 dated June 12, 2007 announced that effective July 30, 2007 a new form of the Certificate would apply for the single state register of enterprises and organizations in Ukraine. However, the previous format Certificates presently register will still be valid.
By its order No.179 dated June 15, 2007, the Ministry of the Economy of Ukraine adopted a new printed version of the instructions for the order of registration of Representative Offices for foreign subjects doing business in Ukraine.
The Supreme Court of Ukraine emphasize that to avoid tax issues it should be pointed about the importance of accurate recording of prices in agreement in that the assumed «default» price is the price net VAT (The Order of the Supreme Court of Ukraine dated February 15, 2007 in the matter of “About the importance of accurate recording of prices in an agreement” No. 6/278a)
