Legislative news on 07-11.05.2007A clarification issued by the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship (hereinafter “the Committee”) outlined in its letter dated December 28, 2006 #9522, a poster with a company’s name is not deemed to be an advertisement, while the same poster with a company’s name and telephone number placed on a car is considered to be an advertisement. The main point is to avoid confusion and remember that an image of the trade mark on a car with a telephone number and address is considered to be an advertisement, which informs and support the contention of an advertisement as set out in the Committee’s letter dated March 30, 2007 #2287.
