The State Tax Administration of Ukraine (hereinafter referred to as the Tax Administration) stated that a private entrepreneur registered as a simple tax payer cannot sell real estate property as part of their commercial activity since the property rights are registered to an individual person solely instead of being the object of commercial activity (Letter of the Tax Administration dated October 5, 2007 No. 4851/Ā/17-0715 “On the letter consideration”). |

In its Letter No.12-113/730-6194 dated June 18, 2007, the National Bank of Ukraine stated that when opening a bank account for a legal entity the rights of first signature belongs to the head of the legal entity (chairman, director etc) and also to other authorized individuals, amongst those could be the chief accountant. |

The State Pension Fund announces changes to the fee rates of the Pension Fund both the “ceiling” – 33.2% and “floor” – 0.5% of the salary not exceeding the minimum wage for the work force, or 0.5% from a portion of the salary not exceeding the minimum wage for the work force and 2% from the portion of the salary exceeding the minimum wage for the work force. |
