Ukraine to cancel the visa regime with Bulgaria and Romania
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Arseniy Yatsenuk stated that Ukraine will cancel the visa regime for the citizens of Bulgaria and Romania upon ratifying and implementing the agreement regarding the simplification of the visa regime between Ukraine and the European Union.“At first, we will ratify the agreement, implement it and thereafter, consider the submitting the visa free regime. These are simultaneous activities”, pointed out the Minister.
He informed that the packet of draft decisions by the Cabinet of Ministers, which factors in the government’s resolution concerning the cancellation of the visa regime for citizens of Bulgaria and Romania and the ratification and implementation of the terms of the agreement related to the simplification of the visa regime with the EU, had already been prepared.
