Accountants march for WTO
In July, the Ukrainian Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors and the Ukrainian Educational Center of Reforms held the meeting of the National Press Club on the subject “Are there prospects for WTO for Ukraine?” The theme of the meeting was raise the awareness of society on the introduction of a system of transparent accounting reporting based on international standards as one of the most effective methods of attracting investments in the economy of Ukraine and one of the preconditions for accession into the WTO. Also, international programs for certification of accountants and the role of professional associations based on Ukraine’s membership in the WTO were discussed.www.ebskiev.com © 2007
