Ukraine and Russia discuss cooperation in international organizations
The first meeting of the sub-committee in regards to cooperation in international organizations Ukraine-Russia was held in Kyiv. The meeting was chaired by the Directors of the UN Department and International Organizations of The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, Serhiy Kyslytsia and Department of the International Organizations of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Oleksandr Konuzin.The parties discussed prospects for the 62nd session of the UN General Assembly. Moreover, the participants assessed the cooperation on Chornobyl as positive.
Finally, the consultations confirmed the readiness of the foreign ministries of Ukraine and Russia to resume intensive political dialogue.
