Ukraine likely to accede into WTO in late 2007
“Ukraine is likely to accede into the WTO in late 2007”, stated Vice Prime Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk. He said that the package of documents, last of 9 essential documents for the country to enter the World Trade Organization, has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.“In the event, the Verhovna Rada passes the bills in the near future, the last legislative obstacle to entry into the WTO will have been removed”, - Dmytro Tabachnyk said. He also stated his desire that “this vital and important event may take place in 2007 when Ukraine will become a full fledged member of the biggest world trade club”.
