EBS was founded in 1998 by four partners - a Canadian Chartered Accountant, two Canadian Engineers and a Ukrainian finance specialist. Each partner has considerable on-the-ground, business experience in Ukraine. Our experience in this market builds upon our solid management experience at such leading companies as Coopers & Lybrand, General Motors and Procter & Gamble. In this way, EBS partners combine proven management experience at leading Western companies, with practical business experience in Ukraine.
Helen Volska, EBS Partner
 Mrs. Volska is a fluent English-speaking Ukrainian, Certified Chartered Accountant with over 11 years of experience in Ukrainian and International accounting.
This includes Coopers & Lybrand, Ukraine, during its initial development stage, Ashurst Technology Corporation Ltd., as Chief Accountant then Financial Controller. Now Helen Volska is EBS Managing Partner.
Her experience includes managing Ukrainian accounting departments and personnel, leading the restructuring of financial operations, restating Ukrainian financial statements, and project managing numerous Western accounting systems, including the first western accounting system implementation in Ukraine - SCALA implementation at UTEL. Mrs. Volska managed and participated in projects on strategic development, companies' transformation and reorganization, and implementation of internal control systems. Helen Volska developed and led a number of seminars and trainings on corporate strategies development and deployment for leading Ukrainian and foreign companies. She participated in project on implementation of SAP R/3 for UMC as expert resource on implementation of module Controlling SAP R/3.
